Training Equipment
Most athletes in East Africa do not have the funds to purchase proper training shoes. Indeed, they are forced to wear shoes that are barely recognizable as footwear, let alone footwear to suit the technical needs of aspiring elite athletes.

Therefore, we are collecting new, nearly new, and used technical running shoes and clothing from running clubs and stores in Europe and the USA.

We thank the following clubs and individuals that have already made donations:

Oxford University Cross-Country Club--15 pairs of used trainers

Oxford University Athletics Club--10 pairs of used trainers

Hilly Clothing--2 sun-protection caps, 3 pairs of cool-max socks

Aspiring Olympian Yared Hailesilassie had shoes that were falling apart.
Thanks to our project, we have been able to outfit him with ones that, although not new, are in much better condition.
Alex Vero, of Vero Productions, presents a donation on behalf of Hilly Clothing to the athletes.
