The RAB camp supports 14 developmental athletes and training equipment is a vital component for each of them. You could support one athlete or if you are a brand/company/ sports label then you may want to support all the athletes in the camp. Individual Athlete Equipment Sponsorship Requirements

Benefits to Sponsor
a) Competition Visibility: Athletes will wear the sponsor’s kit and shoes, as the sponsor designates, for: all local, regional, and international competitions (including pre- and post-race routines)
b) Visibility through Partner Organizations: Ethiopian athletes traditionally wear their kit during daily activities, not just during training. This practice identifies them as bearing the socially-acclaimed role of professional athletes. Daily activities for our athletes include:
- Study and work opportunities with the International Center for East African Running Science; a cutting edge research group (www.ICEARS.org)
- Employment by other NGOs achieving social development through sport, such as the Girls Gotta Run Foundation
- Tourism work, and other education and jobs in running-related industires
c) Media Visibility: They will promote your kit and verbally acknowledge your support in all situations in which the organization anticipates media coverage and/or public visibility, including:
- traveling to and from local, regional, and international races. See our 2009 calendar for competitions in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Europe.
- press conferences, technical meetings, banquets, and other events on racing trips
- Media coverage of our training facility in Addis Ababa
- Photos for promotional material produced by the organization, including direct-mail brochures, our website, e-newsletters, and applications to charitable grantmakers
d) Logo Promotion: The sponsor’s logo will be displayed prominently at the RAB Training Camp in Addis Ababa, and made prominently visible during all media coverage of the Running Across Borders Training Camp, as well as our racing trips in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Europe.
e) Appearances: Athletes are available for promotion of the sponsor’s company and/or its products through appearance at press conferences, publicity events, or filmed or printed commercials. Their availability must be scheduled around their competition and training obligations, and travel costs directly associated with such appearances must be paid by the sponsor.
f) Exclusivity: These benefits described above are of course exclusive. Therefore, for the duration of a contract athletes will not represent any companies who clearly and directly compete with the sponsor, in any of the ways described above.
Entire Training Camp Equipment Sponsorship Requirements
To be the official equipment sponsor of the entire Running Across Borders Training Camp, a facility in Addis Ababa hosting 14 Ethiopian athletes plus up to 7 visitinig foreign athletes at one time, the resources listed above required for a single athlete must be provided to all athletes living in the camp.
Benefits to Sponsor
-All benefits above as applying to a single athlete sponsor will be awarded with respect to all athletes in the group.
-The sponsor’s logo and name will be made prominently visible during all media coverage of the Running Across Borders Training Camp, as well as our racing trips in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Europe.
