Career goals
After I finish my athletics I want to coach athletes.

Getting to School
Sometimes I walked for one hour, but if I did training then I would eat a little breakfast and go to school by jogging because it was far away.

Athletics Career:
I began running to improve my health status but now I have desire to be a fruitful athlete as well as to be a successful student in my education. This means I want to be an educated athlete.

What are the main challenges you have faced in your athletics career?

  • I face challenges when I run hills because I have a little back pain and pain on both of my legs with is caused by cold. This makes me an athlete surrounded by challenges.
  • My family supports me in the home, but I've got nobody to provide me with medical or coaching advice.

What has inspired you as an athlete?
I am interested in running because of seeing all the Ethiopian runners out in the streets. My family encourages me mentally.

What do you do for fun?
I like to read books and see films sometimes.
